What can I expect as a new patient?
If you're new to Bridger Natural Medicine Clinic, the initial consult lasts 1.5-2 hours. Sufficient time is given to voice all health matters, thoughts, and concerns. During this time. Dr. Lemley will also gather a complete health history, review any previous records from former physicians, go over your current symptoms, and gather other important details.
When indicated, a physical exam my be performed. This may be as simple as looking into an ear if it us infected, or listening to a heart with a stethoscope. We often do blood work, take cultures, can order x-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds, DEXA, MRIs, CT scans, colonoscopies, and other procedures to enhance our clinical diagnosis.
Beginning May 1, 2023, the clinic will be removing itself from the insurance submittal/billing process. All contracts previously held with insurance providers (such as BCBS, Aetna, Allegiance, Pacific Source, etc.) will to be terminated. Payment for services rendered will be due at time of service. An invoice holding all diagnostic and procedure codes will be given to the patient which they can submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement of services. By Montana State law, there is mandatory health insurance coverage for licensed Naturopathic Physicians so patients are entitled to receive reimbursement from insurance companies. If requested, the clinic can still submit the claim to an insurance provider on behalf the patient, but ultimately insurance reimbursement for services rendered will be between the patient and their insurance provider. The clinic will assist patients in this process.
